Company History and Founding Story
Brad Geldard is an “outside the box thinker” always looking for innovative ideas to improve the means of product installation for Australian consumers. Brad came across the idea of a Telebelt whilst running a Slinger and decided that this showed a lot of potential for the current markets. After four years of researching the machine and its capabilities and applying them to the Australian market, he deemed the machine beneficial and decided to import a Telebelt TB130 for trial under the newly formed Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd. After three years he has proved its worth for the application of a variety of landscape and civil materials working on projects from landscaping to West Gate Tunnel Project and the North East Link Project as well as numerous large scale projects moving a high volume of products previously unable to be installed via current methods at cost effective rates.

Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd strives to improve timelines and productivity in all facets of the landscape, civil and construction industries via the use of the Telebelt TB130 providing more efficient rates of installation compared to crane and kibble, excavator and blower units in a safer manner.
Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd has recently added a CAS TR20 All Terrain Tracked Slinger Unit to its fleet to address access issues previously found in current methods of product application. With the addition of the CAS TR20 we are able to provide wider access capabilities to previously inaccessible areas.

Founder, Company Director and Operator of the Telebelt TB130 and CAS TR20 All Terrain Slinger.
Having started my career as a Carpenter and branching out into the Blower Industry for six years before starting Blow It Mulch in 2009, coupled with four years of research, it became evident that better options exist. My passion was to introduce and improve the efficiency of the industry with the introduction of the Telebelt TB130 and CAS TR20 now available in Victoria , South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. I enjoy working in this market because of the appreciation my clients show due to the vast improvement in capabilities, efficiency and cost savings achieved by their use of Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd.

Following 38 years in education, the need for full time concentration on running the family owned business became evident. Managing Blow It Mulch which installs landscape products and expanding into Mega Mulch which manufactures mulch and soil for installation via the blower units, it has become a natural progression to be able to offer the unique services offered by Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd where the Telebelt TB130 and CAS All Terrain Slinger best suit a situation where there is challenging access or high volumes of product to be installed.

Key Achievements and Milestones
Product Placement Solutions Pty Ltd is proud of the way we have proven that installation timeframes can be cut to help achieve project timeframes avoiding penalty rates as well as substantial savings on the cost of product installation.
For example:
- On batter installation of soil – 500 cubic metres of soil in 10 hours compared to 110 cubic metres previously achieved via a blower unit on the same site.
- Fuel Station Tank Farms – 700-800 ton of 10mm rock installed in 10 hours where previously two 20 ton excavators would require four days to achieve a similar result.
- Large scale mulching embankments – 2,000 cubic metres single chop timber mulch installed in five days. A product that could not be installed via a blower unit
- Sand installation – Plumbers digging pit / trenching pit at a college in Bundoora where the Telebelt installed 300 cubic metres of sand through a section in a wall in 5 hours whereas the bobcat operator said it would take a matter of weeks with this difficult location.
- Concrete Installations – Fibrecrete, Permeable Concrete and Coarse Aggregate Concrete on a number of projects saving the client from manual labour from unpumpable resources.
- Clay installation – 100 cubic metres of clay and 50 cubic metres of soil were installed over a two storey roof into an internal courtyard with only a pedestrian door as access.
- North East Link Early Works Project – The versatility of the Telebelt allowed the installation of crushed rock, granitic sand and soil surpassing all production rates of cranes and blower units previously used on this site.
