“I have been using Product Placement Solutions on a project which has performance standards set by a soil scientist and environmental engineers. Strict controls have been placed on eliminating compaction and maintaining gradients on clay bases to ensure drainage. The traditional backfilling techniques would compromise these standards so the best option was the Telebelt. This machine enabled us to place various layers of material to the required depth from one central location to an area of 4800m2. The significant advantage is that clean-up of dumped material for reloading was minimal, the whole profile settled uniformly, hand raking was almost totally eliminated, drainage and irrigation could be laid prior to backfilling with no risk of damage, material was placed into areas which were to tight for machines so there was no wheelbarrowing and we completed the works in any weather.
This machine ensured that we could easily place 300T a day with a 5t excavator.
Brad and his team have set a new bench mark for the ability to place material in awkward places but more importantly eliminating the damage caused by machines compacting the soil profile.
I cannot recommend this technique enough for all material placement when compared to the traditional methods and the hidden costs which are often forgotten.”
